• Introducing potential CEOs/advisors/investors in anticipation of deal closure/transaction; which may dramatically increase your confidence that a deal will be successful.
  • Introducing executives with a deal or deal/transaction idea. “Deal ideas” may take the form of: a strategy around an industry roll-up or consolidation; a specific company or asset targeted as a platform acquisition; or an opportunity within their current company (whether restructuring, sale of a division, PIPE, or a take-private transaction).
  • Approaching targeted private or public companies (often “blindly”) to determine their potential interest in entertaining an approach by a private equity firm (i.e. playing the middleman and ultimately making introductions that can lead to proprietary deal flow).
  • Making “get smart” introductions to executives who are experts in an industry or region of potential investment interest.
  • Providing a “read” on talent/management teams/companies either through our existing knowledge, or through covert or direct reference checking.
